Yesterday the 21st of August, LAN reported that is was notified on Tuesday, August 20th, that they would be forced to vacate the hangar that they operate in the Jorge Newbery Airport terminal, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This notification came from the Argentina Regulatory Agency of the National Airport System. ORSNA (its Spanish acronym) gave them 10 calendar days from the 20th of August to complete the evacuation.

LAN is taking steps to resolve this issue, and they’ve stated they will be initiating legal action. Check back with us for continued updates on this situation.

Also, it is important to note, no itineraries for international or domestic flights have been affected at this point. Any changes will be announced and can be found through multiple portals available on the LAN website.

Feel free to read the official press release for extra information.
