Meet: Africa Easy

Welcome to our 2nd Meet a Tour Specialist feature. Last week it was all about South America, so we decided to switch it up and focus on Africa Easy this week.a-eimages3

Africa Easy specializes in customized, private safaris and small group tours to Africa. Their programs feature Southern Africa, East Africa, West Africa, Madagascar, and beyond.

Nadia Eckhardt, Africa Easy founder, was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Today, she lives in Seattle, but still calls Cape Town “home.” Nadia began her travel career in the early 80’s. Since then, she has worked extensively on land and at sea, as cruise director and tour leader. Nadia has traveled to all seven continents and more than 125 countries. In addition to being a veteran Africa safari specialist and tour leader, Nadia is also well-versed in many adventure destinations across the globe. She combines extensive destination knowledge, travel experience, and passion for her home continent to ensure others have extraordinary travels with Africa Easy.

Venture off the beaten path with a small group to experience a classic, authentic safari through this untamed wilderness. Explore Kafue National Park, one of the largest parks in Africa and the only place cheetah is found in Zambia, continue to South Luangwa, the birthplace of the walking safari, then head to the Lower Zambezi National Park for a combination of land and water activities. At Victoria Falls, view this impressive site and do a bit of shopping for local crafts, before ending in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park where they are large lion prides and rare wild dogs.
