<p>The newest destinations offered by COPA airlines from it&#8217;s hub at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Panama bring the total number of destinations served by COPA in 2008 to a total of 45 destinations.   Service to Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago began earlier this year, and the service to Belo Horizonte, Brazil; Aruba; Valencia, Venezuela and Santa Cruz, Bolivia are scheduled for later this year.</p>
<p>COPA airlines currently serves the following Airports in the United States:</p>
<p>Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK), Washington DC (Dulles) (IAD), Miami (MIA) and Orlando (MCO).</p>
<p>Connections can be made from any of these cities  to any of the 41 destinations served by Copa in Mexico, Central, and South America.</p>
<p>&#8220;We continue to grow and strengthen Copa Airlines and Panama as the best connecting point for travel within Latin America,&#8221; said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines. &#8220;The new flights will facilitate commercial and business relations between the countries in our region, increase tourism, and foster economic development.&#8221;</p>
<div class="p">Heilbron further stated that COPA&#8217;s ability to provide world-class service will be improved by recent the addition of six new aircraft this year and the airline&#8217;s recent announcement of future orders.  The long term goal is  grow Copa&#8217;s hub through new destinations and increased flight frequencies.  Just this month, COPA added 3 additional flights from Panama City to San Jose, Costa Rica.</p>
<p>Copa will begin service to Belo Horizonte on August 21, 2008, COPA&#8217;s fourth destination in Brazil . As part of it&#8217;s Continued expansion efforts, Copa will initiate flights to Valencia and Aruba on December 1 and 15, respectively. Service to  Santa Cruz, Bolivia, the airline&#8217;s fifth new destination will also begin in December.  From all 5 of these cities, COPA will offer convenient connections to and from the major business and tourism destinations of the US, Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America.</p>
